I didn’t come from money.
I came from faith, hustle, and a mama who showed me resilience when life gave us nothing else. 

We lived wherever we could: the YMCA, family members’ homes, apartments where the rent barely got paid. I didn’t have a savings account. I didn’t even know budgeting was a thing.
But deep down, even as a little girl, I knew one thing for sure:
I wanted more for my life.

While other kids spent every dollar they touched, I held onto mine.
Not because I was smarter, but because I was scared. Scared to ever feel powerless. Scared to ever have nothing again.
So I started teaching myself how to budget, how to save, how to stretch a dollar like it was a full-course meal.

Fast forward a few years (and a lot of trial and error later)...
I paid off over $38,000 in credit card debt in just 16 months.
I saved $30,000 in two years.
I raised my credit score from a 545 to a 822.
I went from living in survival mode to owning my own home, and now, owning rental property too.

But let me be clear:
My story isn’t just about numbers.
It’s about freedom.

Freedom to breathe.
Freedom to build.
Freedom to be the woman God always intended me to be — not weighed down by bills, debt, or fear.
